Jumping jacks can be a great warmup exercise, or simply a great transition exercise to get clients heart rate elevated.

There are endless combinations and here we show just six varieties. The old traditional jumping jack would only be frontal plane movement, so here we show combinations of frontal and sagittal plane, and you will notice even an advanced exerciser can have trouble combining these movements. So anytime we have to learn a new movement pattern combination we are challenging our brain and neuro-motor systems to grow as well.

From these six you will realize the combinations are endless and you can add rotational movement patterns, diagonal directions and so many more to create an endless of array of jumping jacks. And always remember you do not have to jump (or leave the ground) you can make jumping jacks non-impact if a client needs that option.
