What inspired you to start your business?
I have always approached any place I work as if I were the owner; operating like an owner, making sure any aspect of an operation is run as professionally as possible. I just take pride in what I do, how I treat members, training clients, anyone who is looking for change in their lives. I really respect that clients or potential clients reach out to me, I work diligently in providing the customer with the best possible experience…that is what we do now at Balanced Fit Life Training Studio.
What is one hard lesson you’ve learned in business you believe has been most valuable?
Making sure you have the right people in place who share your vision, goals, mission, ethics and code of conduct for your business. It is crucial at the onset of growing your business that team members understand what you are looking to accomplish in your business.
If I asked one of your clients why they choose you over other places/gyms/trainers, what would they likely say?
I genuinely care about their success and give them every resource and tool at my disposal for them to achieve results, period.
Name one or two ways you are trying to raise the bar in the industry.
We try to make it right for the client, whether they visit our website, social media tools, walk-in our front door, email us or call us. It is all about the customer and providing them with the best training experience possible.
I also strive to be a mentor to those who aspire to have a career in fitness as well educate my peers on all fitness levels by continued lecturing/presenting on the importance of the customer service experience.
Thank you Kurt for raising the bar in the industry!
