The National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) is proud to announce achievement of accreditation by the NCCA (National Commission of Certifying Agencies) for the Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification. NETA is one of the few certifying agencies that earned this gold standard distinction. NCCA accreditation ensures facility managers reasonable assurance that the personal trainer they employ is deemed competent and professional by a reputable, accredited, certifying organization.
NETA, a non-profit education provider, has been training and certifying fitness professionals for over 30 years and offers a variety of education programs including Personal Training and Group Exercise certifications. In addition, NETA also offers specialty certificates, home-study education, weekend fitness events and a large variety of products and accessories geared specifically to the fitness professional.
The International Health, Racquet and Sports Club Association (IRHSA) has recommended that club owners only hire personal trainers with certifications from organizations accredited through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). The NCCA is a 3rd party governing body that enforces standards of accountability, exam validity and the identification of quality personal training programs that are valid, competent and produce qualified fitness professionals.
