Like most trainers, I have many clients who run. A runner myself, I definitely encourage running as a beneficial form of physical conditioning and mental relief. However, I’m not an expert in running, so I found the book Running Well to be a great asset in helping clients solve the inevitable injuries that come with distance running.

Running Well clearly outlines warm-ups and stretches to help avoid injury as well as diagnosis cues and solutions for injuries that are already present. The book also covers training and nutrition for runners in a clear and engaging way. Running Well is a great addition to your training library and would be a welcome gift for any run-enthusiast client.
