Last month, Ms. Van Dusen recorded one of the biggest upsets in international womens wrestling history when she upset Japans Saori Yoshida at the 2008 World Cup. Yoshida, an Olympic and World champion, had never lost an international match in ten years of competition. This win qualified Van Dusen as one of only four women to represent the USA in the Beijing Olympics. A recent Sports Illustrated article stated that she has a good chance to receive a medal in Beijing.
