The NSCA Certification Commission is pleased to announce that its microsite, www.youcangofarther.com, earned an Honorable Mention from the Lincoln chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). The award was presented at the AMA Prism Awards luncheon on May 15 at Embassy Suites in Lincoln, Nebraska. Youcangofarther.com was designed to be an engaging and entertaining interactive website that allows students and educators to catch a glimpse of the products and services the NSCA Certification Commission offers.

Visitors to youcangofarther.com can sign up to receive information about the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) exam sites and dates and preparation materials and learn the importance of certification. Visitors also have the opportunity to play a competitive trivia game to test their knowledge of fitness information and the CSCS and NSCA-CPT credentials.

The Lincoln AMA sponsors the annual Prism Awards to recognize marketing excellence in Lincoln and gives awards based on results, as well as creative execution. A panel of out-of-state judges affiliated with another AMA chapter reviews all entries. The Lincoln AMA Chapter is a branch of the AMA, the world's largest non-profit marketing association with almost 40,000 members worldwide.

The NSCA Certification Commission, the certifying agency for the National Strength and Conditioning Association, offers two credentials for fitness professionals. The Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) certifications are considered the Credentials of Distinction in the strength training and conditioning and personal training professions. The NSCA Certification Commission is the only fitness-related organization to offer credentials nationally accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) since 1993.
