Balanced Body, the worlds largest Pilates company, will construct a space-saving studio at this years Body Mind Spirit Conference to demonstrate how studios and clubs can provide full-body Pilates workouts in as little as 200 square feet of space. The prototype studio will be constructed in a 10x20 exhibit and will showcase a variety of equipment and storage solutions for space-challenged facilities. The Body Mind Spirit Conference takes place in Santa Clara, California, from April 23-27.

Finding space to offer a complete Pilates program is one of the biggest problems studios and clubs face, said Ken Endelman, Balanced Bodys founder and chief executive officer. Our goal at Body Mind Spirit is to show that with the right combination of equipment and space-saving furniture, its easy to offer a robust program in a small space.

Balanced Bodys space-saving studio showcases a wall-mounted Ellie Herman Pilates Springboard, which provides an invigorating full-body workout. Next, a Studio Reformer pushed up against the Springboard enables users to perform both Reformer and Tower work. The studio also includes a Reformer Trapeze Combination, which offers the opportunity for both Reformer and Cadillac exercises. Two EXO Chairs complete the equipment and include attachments for resistance tubing in order to provide a full Pilates workout in a small footprint. Finally, Balanced Body will unveil prototypes of a variety of space-saving furniture, such as benches and storage bins that fit under the equipment and which open up to hold shoes and props and a grid wall for hanging extra springs.

The configuration well demonstrate at Body Mind Spirit is just one example of the many ways studios and clubs can use our space-saving equipment, said Endelman. In addition to the products youll see in our prototype studio, we also offer a Wall Tower, which can be used with a Reformer or a mat, our Pilates Arc, which offers three exercise tools in one. Combine EXO chairs with Wall Towers or Springboards, and youll have a great challenging, resistance-based workouts. Clubs and studios no longer have to worry about space when it comes to offering full-service Pilates programs to their clients.
