The Abs Company (formerly known as The Ab Coaster Company) launched a new business and showcased its expanded abdominal equipment product line in Las Vegas at the IHRSA fitness show in March 2013.

The new products unveiled at the trade show include: A totally re-designed and improved "Ab Solo," the popular ball-return ab training device which has been off the market for the past three years; a new type of abdominal training bench, called "The Abs Bench," which utilizes a dual-action training motion to work both your upper and lower abdominals at the same time; and a new Ab Coaster which incorporates functional training via an innovative split carriage track design.

According to Sean Gagnon, Vice President of The Abs Company: "The IHRSA tradeshow was a great success. Owners, trainers, and other fitness professionals loved all of our new products, and they understand our company's focus and commitment to becoming the one-stop shop for innovative core training products."

A recent IHRSA study reveals that Health Club members rank Ab Machines as one of their Top 10 favored Health Club activities. Along with cardio and strength training, the study shows that Ab training has now found its own category in the Health Club market.

The Abs Company makes innovative commercial-strength abdominal exercise equipment, including the popular Ab Coaster. The Company currently sells eight abdominal products and is expanding its product line this year. The Company's products are used in over 6,000 commercial fitness facilities in over 40 countries around the world.
