Hydro-Fit®, Inc. announces the launch of its educational program, the Hydro-Fit Academy, created to provide professional development and training for those who teach aquatic health and fitness programs. The first Academy training will be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee at the Hamilton Family YMCA from April 20-22, 2007.

Hydro-Fit® founder and Director Craig Stuart states, I truly believe that the best instructors are the best students. To become an excellent teacher you must experience excellent teaching. For this reason, the Academys foundation is its faculty. The Academys teaching faculty is composed of ten distinguished industry leaders who are dedicated to advancing the standards and practice of aquatic exercise instruction.

The goal of the Hydro-Fit Academy is to take each instructor to excellence through hands-on experience, teaching and mentoring, with special emphasis on instructional methods and teaching skills development. The Academy's training program, built around the use of Hydro-Fits versatile line of aquatic exercise equipment, is designed for experienced water exercise instructors, certified aquatic fitness professionals, personal trainers, aquatic physical therapists, allied health professionals, as well as supervisors and directors of aquatic-based health and wellness programs.
