Working with cyclists, triathletes, runners and general fitness enthusiasts, Transition uses leading-edge methods and technologies, such as Functional Movement Screenings, VO2 Threshold and Metabolic Testing, and video- taped custom bike fitting sessions, as the foundation for training plans and needs. Programs are tailored to each customer's ability level and goals, and are designed to safely produce results.
"We offer a combination of industry expertise, passion and patience in a personable, comfortable and friendly setting," says Huenink, a former competitive cyclist who opened his first bicycle store four years ago. "Customers can look to Transition as the place to meet for indoor and outdoor group rides; swim, fitness and nutrition clinics; or a quick repair."
Transition will hold a grand opening weekend celebration March 23 and 24. Events include fitness contests, indoor bike time trials, family-friendly activities and the chance to win nearly $2,500 worth of products and services.
