Michael Gerend, president and chief operating officer of Life Time Fitness Inc., is leaving the company, according to a company press release.
Gerend been in his job since 2003, when he joined the Chanhassen-based fitness chain. Previously, he was president and CEO of a charter airline called Champion Air and before that he held numerous management positions at Northwest Airlines Inc.
