Fitness professionals across the country recently chose Knoxville-based Power Systems, Inc., for the prestigious Nova7 Best Supplier Award in Fitness Management magazines fourth annual readers choice awards competition.


 


Power Systems was voted Best Free Weights and Specialized Equipment Supplier for 2007 in the contest that ran from July 2006 to June 2007. This is the second year that Power Systems has won a Nova7 Supplier Award. In 2004, the company received the Best Specialized Equipment Supplier award.

Best Supplier Awards recognize excellence in seven categories as determined by fitness professionals and readers of Fitness Management. Competing in the category for Best Specialized Equipment Supplier are companies that produce and/or distribute products such as stability balls, resistance tubing and dumbbells as well as Pilates, yoga and physical therapy equipment. The other categories in this annual competition are Cardio Equipment, Strength Equipment, Computerized Technology, Flooring/Surfacing, Entertainment and Accessories and Best Product of the Year.


 


The November issue of Fitness Management will feature the complete list of Nova7 Award winners. The magazine staff will present the awards at the Athletic Business Conference and Expo in Orlando in late November.
