Star Trac, the fastest growing commercial fitness equipment company, in partnership with Mad Dogg Athletics, the program creators of Spinning, and Sportsgrants, a non-profit event production company, presents the first annual Spinning Nation charity ride. The ride, set for Saturday, June 28 unites Spinning facilities, Spinning instructors and Spinning enthusiasts in a one-day, nationwide event to raise money for Athletes for a Cure, AIDS Research Alliance and the Cancer Schmancer Movement.
Official Spinning facilities across the nation are encouraged to become an event host and invite club members to participate. Each facility will designate a volunteer Ambassador who will be responsible for receiving and distributing all marketing material as well as coordinating activities the day of the Spinning Nation ride. The event is limited to 500 facilities with over 200 signed up in the first two weeks of registration.
Spinning instructors are also encouraged to sign up to teach one or more of the four, one-hour segments. Instructors can teach individually or choose to teach with a second instructor. A minimum of $250 must be raised per bike, per hour in order to participate. All Spinning Nation instructors will receive an exclusive Spinning Nation jersey, shorts, tee shirt and Spinning bag and will also be entered into a drawing to win a number of prizes.
