Researchers at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center have discovered that the growth of prostate cancer cells slowed down in men that ate a low-fat diet together with fish oil supplements for four to six weeks before prostate removal compared to men who ate a Western diet high in fat. The study appeared Oct. 25 in Cancer Prevention Research, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Association for Cancer Research.
