In a year when national headlines have reported the downfall of businesses, Keoni Subioni of Honolulu has defied the economy and trumped the odds to receive a national honor for doing just the opposite.
As the franchise owner of Fitness Together of Honolulu and part of the world’s largest business of personal trainers, Subioni recently received the Fitness Together Best Turnaround Franchise Award for the national chain that includes more than 415 locations.
“Keoni truly deserves this award,” said Jeff Jervik, CEO and president of Fitness Together Holdings, Inc. “Because of his determination and business savvy, Keoni was able to take a struggling franchise and turn it into one of the network’s most profitable locations.”
Subioni has been with Fitness Together for three years and operates the location with his wife Rose.
“In the last year we have made a lot of changes at Fitness Together of Honolulu,” said Subioni. “We increased our marketing efforts, offered special promotions and packages and worked hard to provide our clients the best training services out there. I am truly honored to be recognized with this award.”
