The NSCA Certification Commission has announced the official launch of its new interactive microsite, www.youcangofarther.com. The microsite is designed to be an engaging and entertaining interactive Web site that allows students and educators to catch a glimpse of the products and services the NSCA Certification Commission offers. The microsite www.youcangofarther.com will entertain students and educators and help them become savvy about the NSCA Certification Commissions Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer® (NSCA-CPT®) credentials by providing simple answers to questions they may have. By visiting www.youcangofarther.com, students and educators can get an overall understanding of the quality and value of the CSCS and NSCA-CPT credentials in an interactive, virtual environment.
Visitors to www.youcangofarther.com can sign up to receive information about CSCS and NSCA-CPT exam sites and dates, preparation materials and why they should be certified. Visitors also have the opportunity to play a competitive trivia game to test their knowledge of fitness information and the CSCS and NSCA-CPT credentials. To guide students and educators through the trivia game, the NSCA Certification Commission has created five motivators to choose from to provide them with direction and motivation as they answer fitness-related trivia questions. These motivators were created to be fun and interactive guides through the challenging and fast-paced trivia game. There are also some fun and exciting extras available to students and educators who sign up including downloadable screensavers of their favorite motivator, e-cards and e-mails challenging friends and colleagues to better their trivia game score.
The NSCA Certification Commission, the certifying agency for the National Strength and Conditioning Association, offers two credentials for fitness professionals. The Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) certifications are considered the Credentials of Distinction in the strength training and conditioning and personal training professions. The NSCA Certification Commission is the only fitness-related organization to offer credentials nationally accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) since 1993.
