On May 19, 2012, over 100 gyms across the country will challenge individuals to raise monies for the charity by seeing how many Pushups they can do in 90 seconds. Net Profit Explosion, LLC announced today that its annual fundraising event, Pushups for Charity 2012, will benefit military non-profit, The Boot Campaign. Those funds will be donated to The Boot Campaign, a non-profit that donates proceeds to a group of partner charities that work with soldiers healing from a variety of physical and emotional combat wounds, embodying the campaign motto that, "When They Come Back, We Give Back."

Larry Murray, Boot Campaign's Director of Operations, said "We couldn't be more thrilled about Boot Campaign’s partnership with Sean Greeley and Pushups for Charity. From day one, Sean has been passionate about what we could do together to raise awareness and funds for our soldiers, wounded warriors and veterans. Pushups for Charity was the right partnership and I can't wait to see how people get involved on May 19."

Pushups for Charity, founded in 2010, began as an 80-gym challenge. Participants enlist the help of friends and family for sponsorships, with donations of as little as $0.50 per push up. Net Profit Explosion created the event to encourage people to give back while embracing a healthy lifestyle. Past events have risen over $250,000 and this year the event is aiming for a record $500,000 donation to The Boot Campaign.

Sean Greeley, President of Net Profit Explosion added, "We are honored to partner with The Boot Campaign for Pushups for Charity 2012. Our organizations are such a great fit to accomplish the dual purpose of not only raising funds for veterans causes, but raising the public's awareness of our military and those who serve and have served so we 'never forget.'"

Those interested in joining the May 19 event should go to the newly launched Pushups for Charity website -- www.pushupsforcharity.com. The site features Pushups for Charity supporter Captain Chad Fleming who has been wounded in combat on three separate occasions after six deployments to Iraq and has undergone 20 surgeries, including the amputation of his left leg below the knee. Fleming has completed 5K-runs, triathlons and even the 2009 New York City Marathon with a prosthetic leg and embodies the spirit of the event.

The Boot Campaign
The Boot Campaign is a grassroots military appreciation and veteran awareness campaign started by five women from Texas, known as the Boot Girls. The Boot Girls launched the Boot Campaign in 2009 to spread awareness of the needs of military personnel returning home from combat and express gratitude to current military. Through the sale of military combat boots, the Boot Campaign donates proceeds to a group of partner charities that work with soldiers healing from a variety of physical and emotional combat wounds, embodying the campaign motto that, "When They Come Back, We Give Back." www.BootCampaign.com
