Bruno Pauletto, CEO and co-founder of Power Systems Inc., was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual conference of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) on July 11 in Las Vegas.

The NSCA recognized Pauletto with the award for his numerous contributions to the strength and conditioning profession and his dedication to the association. Pauletto has more than 25 years of service with the NSCA, serving as a board member, state director, and president, as well as on various committees. In 1986, he received the National Strength Coach of the Year award from the association.

Pauletto attributes his decision to become a strength and conditioning coach to the NSCA. Through the association, he learned about the profession and earned credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) the first year the NSCA offered it. After earning a master of science in exercise physiology from the University of Tennessee, Pauletto became the universitys first full-time strength and conditioning coach in 1980.

Pauletto eventually left the university to concentrate fully on Power Systems Inc., the fitness and sports performance training equipment company that he and his wife, Julie, founded in 1986. Since then, Power Systems has been a proud corporate sponsor of the NSCA, supporting the associations mission, programming, and membership services.
