book review

Jeff Horowitz perfectly positions his book, "Quick Strength for Runners" in the first sentence of his introduction: "Let's start with a bit of honesty: Not all runners love strength training." Horowitz has created an easy, approachable plan for runners of any level. He dedicates about half of the book to vividly-colored photos of targeted movements and then outlines an eight-week progressive, easy-to-follow workout plan any runner can achieve in less than one hour a week. This guide is a fantastic resource if you're a running coach, for your clients who run or if you are an avid runner yourself.
