It never rains in California, or so the song goes, except when the Power Systems Total Training Seminars team set up in Irvine on Saturday, May 19, for the inaugural, one-day training workshop for fitness, personal, and wellness training professionals. But even a little rain was not enough to dampen the spirits of the attendees or the presenters. The programs moved along seamlessly both inside and outside the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Orange County, bringing new training and business ideas to the enthusiastic overflow crowd.

Here is what a few of them had to say about it:

I just attended your Training seminar and just want to say I loved it! All of the Power Systems staff was so friendly and were really fun Elyssa Tommer, NASM, IFTA-CPT, Rancho Cucamonga, CA

I wanted to thank you for the seminar that you gave on Saturday in Irvine. I was able to take the info from it and train a 70-year-old lady Monday morning, add some of it to my class at the gym later on that day and then apply even more to a high school athlete I have been training that evening. I have been certified for over 12 years now and have found some seminars to be fun, but I don't come home with much but a good workout. Thank you for coming up with something that appealed to a wide variety of professionals. I don't fit into one specific category, but you completely met my needs. Your presenters were all wonderful and I actually liked the nice intimate atmosphere. Thanks again for a wonderful day and the information. I will definitely be in San Diego next year. -  Patti Newcombe, AAFA, Mad Dogg Spinning, San Bernardino, CA

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how much I enjoyed the Total Training Seminar in Irvine. I enjoyed having the lecture during lunch; it was a very efficient use of time. I particularly enjoyed the smaller, more intimate atmosphere at your conference compared to others Ive attended. - Tami Santy, ACE-CPT, Long Beach, CA

All the Power Systems people were so easy to work with and I absolutely enjoyed the seminar! I came back with a lot of info to pass on to my clients/classes and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was REALLY impressed with the organization, the wealth of information, the professionalism, and the overall strength of the course.  Great Job!! I am a former teacher and I am not impressed easily---so KUDOS to the Power Systems group.  You guys took it up several notches and you should be proud of the work you have done. - Stacey Becker, AAFA, Mad Dogg Athletics-Star 2, San Diego

About Power Systems
Power Systems was founded in 1986 by Bruno and Julie Pauletto. At that time Bruno was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Tennessee (UT), and while there he produced a series of speed, agility, and strength training videos to help other coaches train and motivate their athletes. Bruno then gave them the opportunity to purchase quality training equipment that had previously been difficult to find, and from that the Power Systems catalog was born. Since then Power Systems has grown into a leading direct marketing distributor of specialty exercise, sports performance, and fitness training equipment and accessories. Power Systems produces five separate direct mail catalogs annually: sports, fitness, strength, soccer training, and comprehensive (combines sports and fitness). The printed catalogs are supported by a strong Internet presence with an online catalog, www.power-systems.com.
