Fitness Together, the world's largest personal training organization within a customized setting, has partnered with Westchester WAG, the area's "gabazine," to create the first-ever Hottest Trainer of Westchester/Fairfield County Contest.

The contest will honor the area's fittest and finest personal trainers. One male trainer and one female trainer will be awarded, along with the client who submitted the nomination. Prizes are courtesy of Fitness Together and the WAG.

Entries must include "before" and "after" photos of a client that exemplifies the trainer's work, a photo of the trainer and a brief description of how the contestant has helped the client reach fitness goal. Qualified trainers must have at least one year of experience and valid certification from ACE, ISSA, NSCA, ACSM or another professional training organization. Submissions should be sent to editor@westchesterwag.com no later than November 17, 2006.

Fitness Together's trainers develop individually customized, results-oriented programs to help clients achieve their goals through weight and resistance training, muscular endurance, muscular training, and nutrition counseling. Trainers also guide clients in weight loss management. Fitness Together incorporates one-on-one private personal training sessions with clients by appointments only. Costs for training packages vary depending on client needs.

Fitness Together studios in New York include Scarsdale; Tribeca, Manhattan; Roslyn and Woodbury, Long Island. Other sites are slated to open in Rye; Setauket, Northport, Port Jefferson and Lake Grove, Long Island; and Brooklyn. The Mount Kisco studio is slated to open in September 2006. Fitness Together studios in Conn. include Avon and Darien. A New Canaan studio is scheduled to open in September.
