We work so hard to try and figure out the magic marketing equation that it seems counterintuitive to ever, ever fire a client. After all, somebody paying you good money for that hour - no matter how annoying they are - is better than not producing income for that same hour, right?

Not really. Successful trainers understand that some clients suck the energy out of your day and make you dread training for that hour. No amount of money is worth that. Clients who cancel often, whine constantly, make excuses and are rarely pleased with anything you do are not the clients who refer their friends, make amazing progress, earn you more clients or in any way build your business. The only solution that a professional can make is to cut that client loose. I guarantee you'll feel immediately relieved, and a better client will soon fill that space!
