PFP receives several requests from
professionals interested in learning more about our article submission process.
We are always happy to hear from fitness professionals interested in
contributing their knowledge and are committed to giving back to the industry.
If you are interested in submitting an
article idea or writing on a specific topic, please review the following
guidelines we have outlined for all submission requests:
>> It is a priority that we
provide quality content with tangible takeaways for our readers in a format and
writing style that is easy and enjoyable to read. Article concepts should be
new, innovative and relevant to our readers and offer information that they can
apply to their business to further their career and success.
>> A career in fitness isn't all
about fitness and exercise, though our passion drives us in a continuing
pursuit of knowledge. Readers want to know about the latest products and
exercises and industry news and trends. There's the business aspect, whether training
as part of a club or independently, managing a club or owning and operating a
facility. Articles should have a clear point of view with targeted information
of recent and relevant business news, fitness and equipment updates and
industry trends.
>> Our readership encompasses many
segments of the industry, including fitness professionals just starting out,
health and wellness club professionals and managers, studio and club owners,
independent fitness professionals, as well as industry veterans and entrepreneurs.
Articles should be pertinent to this readership.
Keeping the information above in mind, please fill out the form
below, letting us know who you are, your article idea and a brief summary,
including main points you will cover, what specific benefit(s) the article will
offer readers and any examples of previous writing you have done.
Once we have received your submission we will review the information provided,
and if we see opportunity in the article we will be in touch to discuss your
ideas and where they will fit best in our editorial calendar. We will also send
you a "Contributor's Checklist" which includes more specific details for
article submission.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me: lindsay@rbpub.com.
Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to the possibility of working
together!
Committed to your success,
Lindsay Vastola
